As a Senior DBA, you will be responsible for administering and securing the organization's databases, ensuring their overall health and performance.

Your advanced SQL skills will be put to use, and you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide Junior Database Administrators, contributing to their professional growth.

Your decision-making, problem-solving, and proactive attitude will be key to your success in this role, as you collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.

Experience with the following technologies is important:

5 to 7 years of experience in a commercial environment utilizing a high transaction database.
5+ years of experience in MSSQL (All aspects).
Advanced SQL skills and query writing skills.
Advanced troubleshooting SQL skills.
Experience in designing/optimizing MSSQL Databases.
Proven experience in mentoring other DBAs.

Advantageous Skills Requirements:

B.Sc. Information Science Degree or B. Com degree
Technical and Behavioural Competencies required.
Big data experience advantageous.

Reference Number for this position is
RT57209 which is a permanent hybrid position based in Cape Town offering from
R75k to R90k per month, negotiable on experience and ability.
