An exciting opportunity has become available for a Logistics Administrator to join my client's Shipping team


Requirements:

Grade 12

Minimum of 5 years of relevant commercial experience

Proficiency in MS Office

Sage Evolution experience advantageous

Ability to accurately and swiftly process transactions

Can work independently

Possess a follow-up and follow-through mentality

Own transport and valid driver's license advantageous Duties

Full execution of sales activities (local market)

Manage consignment stock warehouse

Effectively communicate with local customer and/or distributor

Support to local sales representative

Provide support to Shipping Administrators (international market)

Part-time logistics administrator (international market)

Trans-shipment update (international market) - Rate requests (international market)

Document checking

Basic departmental finance activities (including purchase order & shipment invoice reviews)

Maintain and create SOP's

Participate in analyses exercises/projects Skills

Teamwork

English fluency, Afrikaans would be advantageous

Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines with attention to detail
