Description

oin a successful manufacturer and be responsible for direct and indirect procurement, budgets, draft and manage supplier agreements, cost control in line with budgets, warehouse inbound processes, manage supply to production line, and manage staff.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and enhance procurement plans for incorporating business requirements into current and future procurement activities
  • Create and implement sourcing scenarios/strategies for the assigned categories. Identify, research, evaluate, and negotiate terms for locally addressable spend areas to achieve the best possible conditions
  • Assist with departmental budget optimization. Collect and consolidate affiliate spend data as well as product specifications for the assigned categories to identify key cost drivers

Supplier Management:

  • Take the lead on new and ongoing local key supplier relationships to ensure that the company/affiliate receives satisfactory service standards, and that contribution sustainability is maintained over time
  • Develop and submit all vital reports to assist the team in the supplier selection process. Using the appropriate Procurement Tools.
  • Analyze, and consolidate supplier performance reports based on key performance indicators

Extra duties:

  • Research and stay on top of local price trends, new product and service offerings, and innovative solutions to find opportunities for the business to benefit from optimising spend/budget or growing business revenue
  • Perfect and run with costcutting goals and quality standards
  • Conduct a spend analysis to identify costcutting opportunities

Requirements:


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in procurement, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 510 years of experience in Procurement and/or supply chain management roles, with a progressive increase in responsibilities and previous leadership experience.

R33, R45,000.00 per month
