Description

Dentsu Creative Cape Town is looking for a fixed term Project Manager to manage the workflow of a local team handling pre-press work for an overseas set of clients.

The purpose of this role is to drive and oversee the delivery of the assigned projects to ensure that the objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints.


Responsibilities:

Managing all project documentation and scheduling
Managing all day-to-day activity pertaining to the project
Ensuring work is successfully completed within agreed timelines while meeting
quality standards
Identifying and solving project 'blocks' early to ensure continuous delivery
Scheduling and managing resources (including freelancers) as needed, alongside a team of existing traffic managers
Always communicating with clients courteously and timeously


REQUIREMENTS:

Applicant must have excellent spoken and written English.
Applicant must have experience delivering print and digital projects and working with multiple creatives and developers simultaneously.
Traditional project-management experience such as planning, delegating and delivering to time and budget.
Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with the project team, and ensure an effective workflow.
Must be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
Must have 2+ years previous experience working in an agency.
Must be flexible to working to according to UK working hours, taking into account time differences.


Advantageous:

Experience with the print repro process
Experience handling cross-regional projects
