Start Date: 4 September 2023


Key Responsibilities:


  • Inspect and assess incoming raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough visual and technical checks to identify any defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
  • Follow standardised procedures to perform quality checks, measurements, and tests on a variety of products and materials.
  • Document and record inspection results accurately, including any deviations from the quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in root cause analysis investigations to identify the source of quality problems and contribute to problemsolving efforts.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring that inspection equipment is wellmaintained and calibrated.
  • Assist in implementing and improving quality control processes to enhance overall product quality.
  • Provide feedback to relevant teams on quality trends, areas for improvement, and potential training needs.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders regarding qualityrelated matters.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma (matric) or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify even minor defects.
  • Familiarity with quality control tools, techniques, and terminology.
  • Basic understanding of measurement instruments and equipment.
  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and work within established guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problemsolving mindset and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform inspections for extended periods.

Salary:
Up to R6,000.00 per month
