    Job Description:

    A Deli Counter Hand (Retail) is required to provide excellent customer service, handle and prepare deli products, and maintain a clean environment.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and offer recommendations on deli items such as meats, cheeses, and prepared foods.
    • Product Handling: Slice, weigh, and package deli products according to customer requests and store standards.
    • Display & Stocking: Arrange deli items attractively and keep shelves and displays well-stocked and organized.
    • Food Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, hygiene, and cleaning procedures.
    • Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the deli counter and equipment, ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.
    • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about deli offerings and provide customers with product information and suggestions.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent Communication Skills: Provide top-notch customer service and communicate effectively.
    • Work Environment Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
    • Prior Experience (Optional): Previous experience in a deli or food service setting is beneficial but not necessary.
    • Health and Safety Compliance: Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.

    Salary:

    $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
