Administrative Officer: Supporting and Interlinked Financial Systems

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supervising and rendering system administration and support services to the Department. The successful candidate will assist departments with enquiries pertaining to financial systems, investigate discrepancies in data sets, maintain and re-verify reporting categories for financial systems, perform financial system support functions, provide training to financial system users, and supervise human resource staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist departments with enquiries pertaining to financial systems.
Maintenance and re-verification of reporting categories for financial systems.
Perform financial system support functions.
Provide training to financial system users.
Supervise human resource staff.

Requirements:

An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Financial Management, Accounting, Information Systems or Business Management.
A minimum of 3 years experience in Financial systems.

Knowledge and Skills:

Financial systems; Administration; Strategic planning and organising skills; Communication skills (written and verbal); Proven computer literacy.

Remuneration: R 308 154 - R 362 994 per annum (Salary level 7)
