Role Requirements:

This position requires a strong background in:

Electrical/Renewable Energy Engineering
3 years + experience
Pr Eng / Pr Tech required

Key Responsibilities:

Update Managing Director and Finance Manager on Project Issues by issuing a weekly progress report
Optimizing each design to minimize the installation and construction costs of each project.
Overseeing and training Design Engineers in their daily tasks
Provide input to project managers to assist them in completing their projects in a timely and costeffective manner
Provide feedback and input to the sales team to advise the client regarding the best suitable solution for their needs.
Keep up to date with the latest products and specifications by communicating with vendors on a regular basis.
Attend customer meetings and presentations throughout sales cycle, if necessary.
Conduct all commissioning verification checks on all projects and provide the required handover documents to clients in a timely manner at the end of each project
Monitoring of all site's performance and highlight concerns to O&M department.
Populate and review BOQ's where required
Provide and present a monthly tech review on latest market trends
Complete any additional ad hoc tasks requested by Senior Management
Overseeing and ensuring that project postmortem analysis is presented to the Managing Director and Financial Manager
Compile nonconforming reports received from Project Managers for performance review at the end of the year and share with the Managing Director and Financial Manager
Compiling reports on overall project budget and timing (keep track of all projects postmortems and compile into one document to allow annual performance analysis
By liaising with the Head of Business Development, Head of Operations and Financial Manager, optimize and reduce stand down as much as possible
Allocate all projects to construction teams and subcontractors and keep the Action Map updated at all times
Ensuring quality control are adhered to on all sites.
Ensuring project managers are able to fulfil all duties
Complete any additional ad hoc tasks requested by Senior Management
