Job Title: Group Consulting Geologist

We are seeking an experienced Group Consulting Geologist to lead, advise and provide oversight of our company's mineral resources, ensuring maximum extraction and optimal use of mineral resources.

The successful candidate will also provide consulting support in mineral exploration projects, both within our company and with JV partners, and support growth initiatives at our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advise and oversee all company operations and JV Partners' mineral resources, ensuring effective management and optimization.
2. Ensure that all mineral resource management activities align with approved life-of-mine plans, converting resources to reserves as required.
3. Assist in exploration and extraction planning, organizing, leading and controlling specific projects with mine- and project management, and JV partners (as mandated).
4. Act as the Competent Person for our Resources, drafting the Competent Person's Report for 100%-owned (or future majority owned) operations.
5. Serve on relevant Committees, executing mandates according to company strategic objectives.
6. Support the Growth and Strategic Development Department as required.

Requirements:

1. 10+ Years of experience in geological-mining environment, preferably in a management or consulting role.
2. BSc Honours in Geology.
3. Registration as Professional Scientist with SACNASP and affiliation with another geological council such as the GSSA.
4. Knowledge of mineral resource & mining related software packages like Leapfrog, Microstation, AutoCAD, Surpac, Datamine, etc. is advantageous.
5. Willingness to travel extensively and be sufficiently mobile to visit surface and underground operations.
