An IT security company is searching for a meticulous and intellectual Procurement Manager to join their Johannesburg team to implement cost effective purchases, ensure quality control, and adhere to the supply chain management procedures and policies of the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage consignment stock suppliers.
Create a risk register for procurement activities.
Create contingency plan detailing mitigation and corrective actions.
Control the procurement budget.
Review Purchase Price Variance account and following up on reasons for variances.
Placing orders for nonstock related purchases, obtaining quotes and sourcing new suppliers where necessary.
Negotiate key commercial terms.

Requirements:

Concise and effective communication skills.
Excellent supplier and vendor relationship building skills.
Ability and willingness to perform both intricate and routine duties.
Strong knowledge of contracts (preparation and reviewing), as well as negotiation of terms.
46 years of experience managing procurement operations.
