  • Our client, South Africa's leader in importing and supplying a wide range of industrial equipment is currently looking for a strong Health & Safety Officer to join their Group.
  • The role will be primarily for their Earthmoving Equipment and Compressed Air systems business but may at a later stage also involve some of their other businesses.

Requirements:


  • Relevant qualifications in H&S.
  • 5+ Years H&S experience is required (in a similar industry ie construction, industrial).
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of SHE.
  • High levels of energy able to operate in a lively, fastpaced environment.
  • Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.

The role:

  • To manage all aspects of H&S at their own branches (JHB mostly, but also, Cape Town, Durban and one or two smaller outlying branches).
  • To compile and manage safety files as required by some of the clients (e.g. the mines, large industrial companies, etc.).
  • The role will require some travel, including to client sites in some cases (e.g. the mines.).
