Job Spec:

• Pro-actively manage Procurement Operating Plan (POP).
• Compilation of Bills of Quantity (BoQs) for amendments/orders/compensation events.
• Evaluate and submit requests as well as obtain approvals for variations and amendments to contracts.
• Initiate the relevant contract change management procedures and working closely with Project Controls to complete the required processes.
• Assist Procurement with tender enquiries, process and evaluation.
• Assist Procurement in administer contracts by producing and assessing amendments, compensation events.
• Evaluation of monthly payment applications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Degree/Tertiary qualification (BSc. Quantity Surveying, Btech Quantity Surveying).
• Minimum 8-year experience in working with NEC and FIDIC contracts.
• Minimum 8 years applied quantity surveying and estimating experience within the Gold mining environment (surface and underground).
• Minimum 5 years experience on project with values of greater than R100 million will be advantageous.
