Description
My client, based in Bellville, is looking for an audit manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while managing a team of auditors to deliver accurate and timely financial assessments


Responsibilities:


  • Develop audit plans and programs based on risk assessment and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with audit team members to assign responsibilities and establish timelines
  • Prepare audit engagement letters and communicate audit objectives to stakeholders
  • Audit Execution
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and key stakeholders
  • Prepare audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for improvement
  • Present audit findings to senior management and the audit committee as necessary
  • Team management

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and advantage
  • Expertise in accounting principles, auditing standards and regulatory compliance
  • Experience managing audit engagements and leading audit teams
