Description

Supporting the Business Units and Group Functions to understand the Group Data Strategy and how it relates to their business goals and expectations

Working with business leaders to understand their business strategy, business direction and how the existing data capabilities can support this

You will be the first point of contact for all VOXEL Data Lake (VDL) data requests and will assist the business in defining their requirements and navigating through the new demand management and prioritization process.

You will advise, help, and guide your business customers on potential solutions or workarounds to data issues, and connect them with the appropriate resources and teams within DA who can advise and help.

This may include providing direct advice or helping someone through a technical query or it may be identifying the best point of contacts, directing data users to various forums, escalation processes or making people aware of the data and resources available to them.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Topic

Mining Industry Experience

Expected to workeither at corporate offices or site locations.

Blend business acumen with a degree of technical data management knowledge

Solid experience with data, everyday operations, and the overall business strategy.

Strong communicator and influencer

Experienced and fluent in Data & Analytics

Data cataloguing,

Data modelling,

Data governance,

Data quality management and

Data warehousing/data lake architecture
