Our client in the hospitality industry is urgently looking to employ an Assistant Banqueting Manager at their organization

Location:
Umhlanga, KZN

Requirements:

Diploma in Hospitality Management/ any industryrelated qualification
3+ years within a banqueting department at supervisory or junior management level
Experience within a 4 or 5 star property in the Banqueting department
Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities:

To assist the Banqueting Manager to lead and organize the Banqueting Service Team, to set and maintain standards and to strive to
Establish and maintain happy, healthy and stable working relations with all staff and management.
Responsible to operate within the policies and procedures as set out in the operating manual.
Make regular visits to all Banqueting functions and ensure you lead from the front to evaluate quality of product and be regular contact
To ensure that daily operational setups, procedure and standards are met as per the daily banqueting checklist
