- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A minimum of a grade 12 education.
- At least 3 years of experience in a comparable retail role.
- Three years of experience in managing teams.
- Proven skills in people management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Thorough understanding of the Labour Relations Act and BCOE Act.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Drive and maximize store financial performance by achieving sales targets and proactively addressing any issues.
- Oversee all operational functions of the store, including expense management, inventory control, and administrative tasks.
- Ensure effective visual merchandising and maintain the store's presentation in line with company standards.
- Lead and motivate staff to foster a competent and engaged workforce.
- Schedule employees appropriately to ensure optimal staffing across all departments.
- Handle all administrative duties efficiently, including maintaining accurate employee records.
