Paralegal Specialist - IP - Sandton
Our Client is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal Specialist to join their Group Legal & Secretariat team immediately.

As a Paralegal Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the General Counsel in performing the statutory duties required by a public company listed on the JSE.

You will be drafting standard agreements, maintaining contracts precedent databases, providing legal opinions, and assisting with compliance and governance matters.

Qualifications and expertise required:

Legal degree
58 years work experience in an established large law firm
Working knowledge of the corporate process is important
Computer literacy essential

Experienced legal officer
High level of confidentiality
Results Orientated
Good Communication skills
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Analytical thinking
Understanding of statutory processes, systems, and policies
Innovative Ability to work independently

Salary:
Market Related in line with big law firms and based on experience.
