    This role is based in Polokwane, Limpopo

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Full Debtors Function Control:
      • Prepare, report, and consolidate financial statements, including generating trial balances and reconciliations.
      • Accurately manage accruals, journal entries, cost allocations, and payment allocations.
      • Co-signatory of payments with Financial Manager.
    • Fixed Assets and Vehicle Debtors Management:
      • Calculate additions, disposals, and depreciation of assets.
      • Align physical assets with asset register.
      • Handle vehicle debtor queries promptly.
    • Financial Reporting Support:
      • Assist with daily, operating, and annual financial reports, meeting deadlines.
    • Insurance Administration:
      • Investigate insurance claims and manage 3rd party payments.
      • Ensure accurate recovery of excesses.
    • Stock Reconciliation:
      • Prepare/review stock-takes and process credit notes.
      • Reconcile vehicle, parts, and asset stock accurately.
      • Calculate depreciation on demo/mobility vehicles.
    • Audit Support:
      • Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors in finalizing audits.
    • VAT Reconciliation and Financial Services Provider (FSP) Calculations:
      • Submit monthly VAT reconciliation.
      • Review FSP calculations.
    • Cash Management and Housekeeping:
      • Maintain efficient cash management practices.
      • Ensure proper filing and archiving of financial documents.
    • Compliance Assurance:
      • Follow correct accounting policies and procedures consistently.
    Requirements:
    • Diploma/Degree in Booking/Accountant or relevant finance qualification
    • 4 years accounting experience in a similar environment
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
