Description

We are looking to hire a vibrant and passionate financial advisor to join our team.

You will spend your day assisting clients with their financial struggles and spending patterns and then recommending an appropriate financial planning strategy.

Financial Advisor Responsibilities:

Telephonic and facetoface interaction with clients and potential clients with regards to various Octogen products and services relating to financial wellbeing and debt review
Contact leads provided
Assist clients with financial wellbeing services.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Old Mutual Finance branch employees
Correspond and liaise between clients and the New Business department

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Matric / Grade 1
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook

- minimum 2 + years' experience in a sales

Post matric businessrelated qualification an advantage
Prior work experience in a debt review environment / with exposure to debt review software (ideally MAXIMUS) would be an advantage

Necessary Skills & Attributes:

Target driven (related to new business)
Ability to build and nurture business relationships (with corporate partners and clients)
Strong Sales Ability
Active listening skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English and at least one local official South African language
Attention to detail
Proactive
Analytical and problemsolving skills
