ARCHITECTURAL POSITION
Our well-established Architectural Practice, located in Hermanus is looking for an experienced and energetic person to join us.


Day to day responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to:

• Measure up of buildings, sites and structures
• Preparation and drafting of; Sketch plans (including presentation drawings and 3D modelling), Council submission drawings and documentation, Working / construction drawings and all relevant details
• Attend to any relevant documentation
• Any other tasks required or related to the nature of the working environment
• Pay attention to detail
• The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• The will to work overtime if requested or if necessary
• Have good communication skills and the ability to interact directly with clients and contractors
• Dynamic, hardworking and passionate
• Accuracy and precision
• Ability to articulate ideas
• Ability to understand and formulate design decisions
• Display creative problemsolving skills

Successful applicants will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Proficient in Architectural programs. Preferably Revit, AutoCad and/ or Caddie.
• Proficiency in realistic rendering programs such as Lumion, Twin Motion and Sketchup. This will be a bonus but not a requirement
• A minimum of at least 3 years working experience in the Architectural field, working specifically with Architectural drawings (mostly residential, industrial and commercial)
