Job Summary

The main purpose of this position is to assist the data governance team in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, standards.

This position assists in the implementation of the RDARR frameworks and policies.

To support the credit risk process through carrying out comprehensive and quality credit risk functions within the credit lifecycle to create shared growth within the boundaries of internal policies and external regulations for Growth Business clients

Job Description:

Key accountabilities

Analyze and understand how data is managed and governed in data platforms, providing analytical expertise in the governance, interpretation and maintenance of data
Help design, implement and continuously develop an effective Data Ownership framework; work with Data Owners and Stewards to design and monitor KPIs relating to Data Management
Work with the Data Engineering team to make sure that Data Management best practices are fully defined and embedded
Assist the Data Governance Manager to localize key Data Management & Governance policies, artefacts and documentation
Develop control structures within a simple environment to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels
Provide thought leadership and participate with projects that involve any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes
Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and IT
Work with business partners to gather and understand functional requirements, develop complex queries and provide reports
Follow standards, policies and processes regarding data quality management
Operate data remediation plans where data fails to meet required standard
Updating a Data Quality dashboard highlighting key issues
Ensure that data quality is assessed and evaluated as an integral part of new solution developments
Support the development and maintenance of an end to end data lifecycle management approach

Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas:
Mathematics (required), Bachelor's Degree: Information Systems, Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology, Bachelor's Degree: Statistics
