ABOUT CYBERLOGIC**:

Our client is a trusted Managed Solutions Provider focusing on optimising cloud infrastructure and cyber security. They are currently looking for a Procurement Team Lead to join their dynamic team.


PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


The purpose of this role is to transform the procurement department to meet the current and future needs of the organisation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage the procurement team, providing guidance and coaching to ensure individual and team success;
  • Lead and manage procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management;
  • Drive cost savings and process improvements through strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Oversee vendor performance and maintain strong relationships with partners and suppliers
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and products
  • Act as a presales specialist by assisting in the sales process, identifying customer needs, and proposing customised solutions that meet those needs
  • Provide technical expertise with a focus on cloud software and solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and ensure they are met through procurement activities
  • Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and systems to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of market trends and competitor activity to inform procurement strategy
  • Work closely with finance to ensure accurate tracking of procurement spend and budget compliance.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking such as coming up with rental models and cheaper solutions to provide costeffective options for customers

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience leading complex negotiations with suppliers
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft and cloud software, and experience with supplies such as Dell and Fortinet
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of coming up with creative solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to work independently and take a high level of initiative
  • Ability to stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success
