    At Yellowhouse Machinery Co., we are seeking highly skilled John Deere Service Technicians to join our team in Sand Springs, OK. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a strong work ethic and provide reliable references.

    Prior experience with John Deere equipment is preferred but not required. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of heavy machinery used across the construction and agricultural industries, including Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Excavators, Crawler Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, and more.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Effectively diagnose and repair complex issues with John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment, as well as other supported brands.
    • Perform rebuilds or replacements of critical powertrain and hydraulic components, such as engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps, and more.
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times while on duty.
    • Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulations.
    • Keep your workspace organized and properly care for shop equipment and specialty tools provided.
    • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment among coworkers from Service, Sales, and Parts departments.

    Requirements

    • Basic computer skills to efficiently utilize service and parts support programs.
    • Able to create accurate and detailed service reports documenting tasks performed during service or repair.
    • General knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, and powertrain components.
    • Willingness to participate in company-sponsored training as needed.
    • Personal hand and pneumatic tools to perform diagnostic, service, and repair work on heavy equipment.
    • Follow instructions and duties provided by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman to efficiently service or repair machines.
    • Pass a physical drug screening and possess a valid driver's license.
