    The purpose of the role is to ensure that all packaging material are ordered, received, issued and controlled to prevent quality or stock losses. Also to ensure that all metrics associated with the packaging material, packing and warehousing, are accurately recorded, reviewed and remedial actions are taken where necessary.

    Qualification / experience required:
    • Grade 12 coupled with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience preferably from the FMCG sector.

    Role and responsibilities:
    • Ensure correct packing material available for each product line
    • Holding stock levels Poly / Plastic and Paper 3 weeks
    • To ensure good quality of packing material received – conformance to receiving protocol
    • To control stock levels of packing materials and losses – daily issue and receive recon. Monthly packing material recon accurate and correct.
    • Accurate product information – to enable warehouse and weighbridge weight controls on loads to manage stock loss risk.
    • Verification of shift logs and correct recording of the OEE results – timeous trend and record submitting to the HOD.
    • Packing weights recon, verification of results reporting to Management
    • Warehouse stock counts conducted weekly and results compared with the system stock – variances resolved.
    • Warehouse FIFO tracking compliance verified, report weekly.
    • Accurate minutes in Department with clear actions required and follow up before and on target dates as per company protocol.
    • Filing and document control as per company protocol
