Job Summary:


As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and managing the organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Your expertise in network technologies, protocols, and security measures will be crucial in maintaining seamless connectivity and data transfer across the network.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Network Design and Configuration:_
  • Designing and configuring network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to meet business requirements.
  • Implementing network protocols, IP addressing schemes, and VLAN configurations to optimize network performance and connectivity.
  • Network Security:_
  • Implementing security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls to protect the network from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
  • Monitoring network security logs, conducting security audits, and implementing security patches and updates to maintain network integrity.
  • Network Monitoring and Maintenance:_
  • Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, and implementing network upgrades to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Performing routine network maintenance tasks, such as backups, firmware updates, and configuration changes to keep the network running smoothly.
  • User Support and Training:_
  • Providing technical support to endusers on networkrelated issues, troubleshooting connectivity problems, and resolving networkrelated inquiries.
  • Conducting user training sessions on network usage, security best practices, and network resources to ensure effective and secure network utilization.
  • Documentation and Reporting:_
  • Maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and inventory lists to facilitate efficient network management and troubleshooting.
  • Generating network performance reports, security audits, and incident reports to track network performance and security compliance.
  • Vendor Management:_
  • Collaborating with network equipment vendors, service providers, and IT teams to procure network hardware, software, and services that meet organizational requirements.
  • Managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and evaluating vendor performance to ensure quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in network technologies, protocols, and tools for network monitoring, configuration, and security.
  • Strong problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.

Experience:


  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
