    Logistics Coordinator

    A highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator is required to facilitate the transportation of goods within our logistics and supply chain operations. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask to ensure efficient flow of operations.

    You will collaborate with various teams to coordinate and monitor all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and customs compliance. This will involve tracking shipments, managing inventory levels, and resolving any transportation issues that may arise.

    To succeed in this role, you should have a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, as well as experience in coordinating logistics activities. Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and monitor transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
    • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to optimize transportation processes and resolve issues.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and customs requirements.
    • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
    • Prepare and present reports on logistics operations to management.
    • Address and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
    • Identify and engage transportation and logistics service providers to fulfill client requirements.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their transportation and logistics needs.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • Proven work experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
    • In-depth understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
    • Strong organizational skills & problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade procedures.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
    • Knowledge of transportation modes and their respective regulations.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
