    Operations / Workshop Manager

    A well-established Coffee equipment company is seeking an experienced Operations / Workshop Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of coffee machinery and equipment.

    This role ensures that all equipment functions optimally, supporting the company's service quality and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Workshop Management: Oversee the repair, servicing, and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment. Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
    2. Team Leadership & Development: Supervise a team of technicians, service engineers, and support staff. Conduct training on equipment maintenance, repair techniques, and safety procedures. Assign and track jobs, ensuring timely completion and quality control.
    3. Customer Support: Collaborate with the customer service team to handle service requests and inquiries. Provide technical advice and support to clients, including troubleshooting and after-sales service.
    4. Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables. Source and order necessary parts, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
    5. Compliance & Safety: Ensure workshop operations comply with health and safety regulations. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for equipment maintenance.

    Requirements

    1. Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in the coffee or foodservice industry.
    3. Previous workshop management or operations experience is essential.
    4. Experience in technical training and team leadership.
    5. Proficiency in using workshop management software or CRM systems.
    6. Strong knowledge of coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers, etc.).
    7. Leadership and team management skills.
    8. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    9. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
