Description

Parts Sales, Technical and Promotional Support Specialist with a Marketing or Sales qualification and minimum 5 years' experience in Sales/Parts Sales of heavy equipment or associated mining and construction machinery, required to grow the Africa group parts sales, through technical support and value added selling techniques.


Minimum requirements:

  • Diploma in Marketing/Sales essential
  • 5 years' experience in Sales/Parts Sales of heavy equipment required
  • Mining and construction machinery sales experience will be considered

Responsibilities:


  • Grow Africa group parts sales through technical support and valueadded selling techniques
  • Support parts sales staff and parts counter staff to sell parts on quality and technical aspects of products
  • Create focused content for parts marketing material and campaigns
  • Conduct market research in terms of quality and price of competitive brands
  • Create parts supply agreements
  • Budget and cost control participate in setting annual sales targets, marketing budget and capex budgets, ensure monthly tracking and reporting against budget, manage promotional budget, report variances and monitor and review operational costs and expenditure
  • Training undergo training at different suppliers
