- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps/Security roles, with a focus on penetration testing
- Proven experience in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities in cloud environments, particularly AWS
- Proficiency in using penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP Zap)
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Shell scripting)
- In-depth knowledge of AWS security services and best practices
- Certifications such as OSCP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or similar will be a strong plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Conduct regular penetration tests on applications, systems, and AWS infrastructure to identify and address security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with development teams to perform security assessments during the software development lifecycle
- Utilize advanced tools and methodologies to identify and analyze security threats and incidents
- Implement and manage security monitoring solutions to detect and respond to security events effectively
- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline
- Automate security testing processes within the development pipeline to identify vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle
- Demonstrate proficiency in configuring and securing AWS services
