    Description

    Experienced Cost Accountant is required for a large Facilities & Catering Corporate

    General Job Scope & Requirements:

    • Reporting on Food Standard Costing & Monthly Reports
    • Sales Analysis reporting on per revenue stream, per unit
    • Participate in the implementations of projects
    • Work overtime when required
    • Attention to detail is a must
    • Sound understanding of cost accounting and costings
    • Strong cost accounting knowledge
    • Travel from time to time required
    • Auditing recipe costings across the Company's units ensuring updated.
    • Daily reporting on actual versus theoretical food cost per unit across the Company.
    • Ensure costs are allocated to the correct cost centers monthly.
    • Reporting on the food input cost basket per revenue stream, per unit.
    • Detailed reporting on per revenue stream, per unit.
    • Participate in the implementation of reporting systems/tools to enhance and automate sales and cost reporting across all Catering units.
    • Monthly reporting on food costs and comparison against theoretical margins supported with detailed commentary.
    • Monthly reporting on sales mix per unit with detailed commentary.
    • Team leader

    • Very strong Excel skills

    Requirements

    • Are you a SA citizen with a valid SA ID?
    • Do you have your own reliable vehicle in order to travel to different cost centers in Gauteng?
    • Are you based in Kempton Park in order to do a face to face in person interview?
    • Bachelors (Preferred)
    • Advanced Excel (Pivots etc.): 5 years (Preferred)
    • Sales Analysis reporting on per revenue stream, per unit: 5 years (Preferred)
    • Auditing food recipe costings across a company's units: 5 years (Preferred)
    • Cost Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
    • SA Drivers License (Preferred)
    • SA Matric Grade 12 (Preferred)
    • CIMA or Bcomm Cost Accounting Degree (Preferred)

    Minimum Requirements

    • SA Nationals
    • CIMA or Bcomm Cost Accounting Degree
    • Minimum of 5 years' prior Cost Accountancy experience
    • Previous experience in hospitality or a catering environment
    • SA Matric Grade 12 Certificate
    • Own reliable vehicle with a valid SA license
