  • Company based in Cape Town, Western Cape is looking for a Mould Services Manager to join their team.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 510 years of proven experience in toolroom management, injection mould tools, and toolmaking processes
  • Demonstrated expertise in people management, including team leadership and development
  • Proficient in budget management, with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP

Key Responsibilities:


Toolroom Management

  • Overseeing all aspects of toolroom operations, including the management of new tool builds, maintenance projects, and repairs.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for the mould design team, mould building, and maintenance processes.

People Management

  • Leading and managing a team of skilled professionals, fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
  • Providing mentorship and training to staff, promoting continuous learning and development.

Budget and Project Management

  • Managing budgets for new tool builds, maintenance projects, and repairs, ensuring costeffectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Tracking project timelines and budgets to meet organizational goals.

Technical Support

  • Collaborating with production departments to address mouldrelated issues, providing technical expertise and solutions.
  • Offering guidance and support in quoting and costing for new jobs, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

Business Management:


  • Contributing to the development and execution of strategic plans for the toolroom department.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to align toolroom activities with overall business objectives.
