Burnt Studios are looking for a dedicated Store Manager to join our team in our brand new V&A Waterfront store in Cape Town.


Responsibilities

  • Aid in the hiring of new staff under the RSM
  • Communicate daily with the RSM regarding store and stock updates
  • Ensure all staff completes duties as required
  • Manage store assistant team
  • Ensure POS system is operated correctly
  • Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors
  • Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves
  • Assisting customers in finding the products they are looking for
  • Processing customer payments
  • Addressing customer inquiries
  • Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers
  • Cleaning and rearranging the store
  • Pricing, labelling and barcoding when needed
  • Work with team members to keep the sales floor neat and organised

Requirements and skills

  • Knowledge of retail & the Burnt brand
  • Must have store manager experience
  • Outstanding communication and management abilities
  • Excellent organizing skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of retail management software (e.g. Dear, Shopify POS etc) is beneficial.
  • Must be based in Cape Town
  • Own transport to the store is required
  • Very competitive salary
  • Full time managers ONLY. No part time roles available.
