Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements to provide insight into the company's financial performance.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Research technical accounting issues and implement solutions to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Support the monthend and yearend close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting to maintain data integrity.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
CA certification preferred.
Excellent proficiency in accounting software usage and administration.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Experience overseeing all functions of a finance department

Salary:
R36,000- R40,000

You would be required to work at our offices in Woodmead, Sandton and you would be
required to work American hours (2pm - 11pm).
