A well-established client of ours in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced General Manager to undertake major Oil Tanker construction and maintenance projects throughout the GCC. The ideal candidate will oversee major Oil Tanker construction and maintenance projects from conception to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from conception to completion (Oil Tankage).
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations for onsite and offsite constructions.
• Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory.
• Negotiate terms of agreements and draft contracts.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in Tankage construction and maintenance management in the Gulf region.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with construction management software packages.
• Ability to plan and see the big picture.
• Leadership and human resources management skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
