    Description

    HVAC Supervisor

    The role of HVAC Supervisor is critical to the success of our client's operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems for clients, ensuring high-quality results on time and within budget.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintenance Management: Oversee all HVAC installations and maintenance throughout the portfolio, including internal and external teams.
    • Supervise Teams: Supervise a team of HVAC Technicians, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
    • Fault Finding: Assist the team with on-site fault finding and diagnose issues efficiently.
    • Maintenance Scheduling: Prepare maintenance schedules (PPM) and registers of all assets, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
    • Tenant Liaison: Liaise with tenants on breakdowns and resolve queries timeously.
    • Cost Control: Complete adjudication costs for approval, working closely with the appointed engineer.
    • Design and Specification: Complete small designs, specifying correct systems and devices with accurate calculations.
    • Audit and Assessment: Travel to each building within the portfolio, completing assessments and reports on the systems, ensuring compliance with relevant Acts.
    • Service Level Agreements: Ensure service providers' Service Level Agreements are managed according to agreed terms and conditions.
    • Customer Service: Liaise with tenants, manage tenant-landlord relationships, and build good relationships with contractors.
    • Staff Development: Identify training/development needs and proactively select effective solutions to address development gaps.

    Requirements:

    • Refrigeration Trade Test - Red Seal or NQF 6 Airconditioning
    • Matric
    • Drivers License
    • 3-5 years as HVAC Technician / Supervisor
    • Strong technical knowledge
    • Familiar with all systems and different products
