VACANCY

Quality Control Officer

Site Resources Department_

Purpose of the Job:
To inspect the quality of work performed during projects, outages and overhauls.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

Review the process of quality plans (PQPs), inspection test plans (IDPs) and check sheets
Labelling of components and materials
Perform quality control on all components/ materials received or released into or out of any section
Quality assurance
Perform visual and dimensional inspections on all components and materials
Adhere to quality management policies, procedures and related requirements of ISO 900
Adhere to environmental aspects, related impacts and legal requirements associated with work activities in accordance with ISO 1400
Support the area of control to maintain the organisations ISO accreditation

Minimum Requirements:
SAQA Level 1 Quality Control Accreditation, SAQCC Visual Inspection Certification. Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering National Diploma or apprenticeship. A valid Code 08 (B) drivers license is an advantage.

ISO14000 is highly required
