  • Matric
  • 5 Years industry specific experience
  • Experience on Social Media Platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
  • Working on the back end of websites.
  • Computer Skills

Duties:


Marketing, Sales and General Administration:


  • Participate in sales and marketing meetings and promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain inventory of sales materials, promotional items and product samples (where applicable)
  • Assist with Graphic Design functions and coordinating with the graphic designers, printers and any other suppliers as needed.
  • Check and replenish supplies of groceries in stock, in line with requirements of Company Marketing Events/ Shows.
  • Manage the Company newsletter, when applicable
  • Represent the Company in corporate events, trade shows and marketing conferences, as and when required.
  • Implement Marketing and Advertising campaigns as instructed by the Marketing Manager.
  • Administrate marketing and advertising strategies, plans and objectives through the creation, drafting and implementation of Adverts, Editorials, Brochures etc.
  • Maintain inventory of sales materials, promotional items and product samples (where applicable)

  • Implement and administrate the company's social media campaigns including daily monitoring of and activity on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook etc.
  • Booking of media e.g. newspapers, radio etc. as required
  • Writing up of press releases together with the Managing Director and Marketing Manager as required.
  • Compile report on leads obtained at Expo's, Trade Shows, Marketing days and give through to Marketing Manager.
  • Management and administration of Company website in liaison with Managing Director.
  • Management and administration of all reasonable projects falling within the scope of the Company requirements, which is delegated to you from the Managing Director, Project Managers and Marketing Manager.
  • Management and maintenance of Demo Equipment and Demo store. (Quality Control).
  • Backup for Internal Sales Administrator.
  • Filing, binding and laminating, as required.
  • Observes compliance with specifications & procedures.

Social Functions:


  • Plan and organize social and business functions for the Company in line with directives given. Play an active role in the functioning of the Social and Wellness Committee.
  • Takes on the role of organizing functions for clients and staff i.e. lunches and annual Christmas functions in addition to normal responsibilities, without getting overwhelmed and neglecting day to day duties.
  • Arrange gifts to clients, staff and vendors as required / instructed by Directors, through close liaison with Directors.
  • Works independently, plans and makes decisions against parameters as given, only referring queries to Director when necessary.
  • Keeps Director informed of progress on event arrangements regularly.
  • Ensures there are contingency plans in place for any possible eventualities.
  • Offers advice and expertise where possible to ensure success of event.
  • Keeps within budget constraints and uses best possible service providers in relation to particular function.
  • Attend to any other function as requested by management within scope of company requirements.
