A fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant has become available within a fast paced 4-star Hotel.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who understands accounting procedures in a hospitality environment, is a team player and is dependable, flexible and able to work under pressure.


Responsibilities:


  • Capturing of accounting records for accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable
  • Distribute accounting reports and prepare the daily Balance Sheet
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Loading invoices and preparing monthly creditor statements
  • Review the postings, payments, billing statements, invoices, and similar documents on a daily basis
  • Maintain office supplies and provide adhoc office related support

Requirements:


  • Minimum of a Matric with Accounting, Certificate in Bookkeeping advantageous
  • Applicants MUST HAVE a minimum of 3 years experience in a bookkeeping role within hospitality or a hotel business
