Accountant

Our company, trade-on-sa, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at Head Office in Cape Town - Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain Fixed Asset register for new builds, revamps and scrapping
Process and reconcile Debtors, Creditors – allocation/coding (capturing done by Creditors team), Cashbook and Petty Cash
Prepare and reconcile Journals – Monthly; Payroll; Depreciation
Perform Bookkeeping up to Trial balance and Management Accounts – preparation, corroboration & follow up
Manage VAT, Salary and Wages, Credit cards and Beneficiaries list on banking system
Coordinate and plan annual budget process and daily bank deposits reconciliation and follow-up, cash tracking
Maintain monthly audit files and Food cost corroboration & follow up

Requirements:

Bachelor of Commerce degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Fluent in English language
Valid driver's license
2-3 years bookkeeping experience
Experience in Sage Evolution software
Experience with GAAP Retail Office will be advantageous
Experience in the FMCG (restaurant) industry will be advantageous
