Job Summary:


As a sales representative for our engineering services, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, fostering relationships with existing clients, and promoting our services to key decision-makers.

You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to understand client requirements and tailor solutions that address their specific goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries and markets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to understand the technical aspects of our services and effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements in collaboration with the management team.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts.

Requirements:


  • A suitable technical qualification.
  • A proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the engineering or technical services sector.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and articulate complex engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain longterm client relationships.
  • Selfmotivated, with a resultsoriented approach to achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Experience:


  • Sales: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:
