Our client in the high-end retail industry is looking for a E-Commerce Manager to join their team.


Requirements:


  • Degree in E-Commerce, Retail, Business or any other related field
  • 3+ years' experience in an ecommerce trading/retail environment
  • Experience in online planning or buying advantageous
  • Strong understanding of website design, development, and tracking
  • Advanced Microsoft office ability
  • Exercise sound judgement based on analysis, experience and fit for purpose
  • Ability to interpret web analytics, tracking and reporting, and knowledge on how to improve these metrics
  • Budgeting and reporting skills with a strong understanding of retail KPI measurements
  • Strong customer first service focus and flexible in approach
  • Drives collaboration and promotes teamwork
  • A strong understanding of lifestyle brands and the market opportunities within the retail, wholesale and ecommerce sector
  • Business and commercial acumen

Duties:


E-Commerce Strategy

  • In line with the regional and global directives, define, develop and execute on annual/longterm strategy for the department
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase E-Commerce sales and profitability
  • Execute seasonal strategies to support and meet revenue and margin targets
  • Determine specific product category opportunities to maximise growth areas
  • Develop and implement initiatives to ensure that the site delivers the best shopping experience for our customers
  • Develop and continuously optimise digital marketing in collaboration with the digital agency

Operational partnerships

  • Assortment planning, regular replenishments, ensure pricing is competitive and ensure activations and buys are representative for growth
  • Ensure accurate and timely ordering and delivery of product into the market and ensure effective freight review and digital warehouse transformation
  • Ensure assortment is well matched for online platform and ensure seasonal processes are in place
  • Align on performance marketing metrics and tactics and develop a digital model
  • Define Omni DTC initiatives and align on marketing calendar
  • Align with customer service team on key customer service issue and develop solution

E-Commerce reporting & analytics

  • Analysis and reporting of performance
  • Monitoring and evaluation of user behaviour to derive suggestions for improvements
  • Meet all global reporting requirements (KPI, Data, and Performance) as and when needed
