Description

Job Purpose:

To market and sell warehousing services through a service-to-sell approach. The objective is to maintain our customer portfolio and ensure that all related queries and complaints are handled in a professional manner.

Key Qualifications and Competencies:

A friendly and service-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
Relevant tertiary qualification (Grade 12).
Advanced computer literacy with expertise in Excel.
A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential, with Afrikaans being an added advantage.
Strong business writing and negotiation skills.
Confident communicator both over the phone and in writing.
A strong sales approach, including negotiating, handling objections, and closing deals.
Self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to travel when required.

Key Accountabilities:

Identify and develop profitable new business opportunities for warehousing-related services.
Develop new sales leads and build a database of potential clients.
Maintain and grow existing business by cross-selling opportunities.
Establish and maintain strong client relationships to enhance and increase sales potential.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date sales records for all existing and prospective accounts on company IT systems.
Prepare detailed and professional written proposals and quotations as needed.
Maintain a professional sales approach at all times.
