Big 5 Wild Life Rehabilitation Centre located in Limpopo - Our client is seeking a Camp Manager and Front of House Reception, assistant management couple to join a team: Your roles and responsibilities are the following, although not limited to:

  • Must be handy and hard working
  • Must be able to do guided walks and game drives, be willing to do training to take guests through our Wildlife Rehab Centre (game drive no Big 5)
  • Hosting of guests
  • Month ends, invoices of guests, receiving money from clients, running of bar, stock takes and serving of guests
  • Overseeing day to day duties and staff in camp and room checks and kitchen
  • Back ground in basic maintenance (will have to work across Forest Camp and Ya Mati in line with Crystal) Basic road repairs and keeping roads accessible for game viewers and all walking trails open.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicles (taking full responsibility of vehicles and vehicle checks)
  • Needs to help out across camps when management on leave of off days
  • Sober habits
  • Manage+/ 10 staff members (kitchen, housekeeping, 1 grounds and junior guide, students when they do practical)

Qualifications

  • Matric
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or Wild Life Management

Skills
Minimum 3 years working experience gained in a Game Lodge environment. First aid. Excellent people skills. Non smoker. Responsible and head strong. Ability to take charge and lead a team.
