    OPERATIONS MANAGER - Aesthetics

    WEST COAST - Cape Town, Western-Cape (South Africa)

    START: ASAP / 01 May 2024

    REPORTS TO: Director / Medical Doctor

    HOURS & SHIFTS:

    • Monday - Friday 08:00 am - 18:00 pm
    • Closed on all major public holidays

    PACKAGE POTENTIAL & COMPANY BENEFITS:

    • R20,000 - R25,000 Basic Salary per month (BOE, BOQ, BOS)
    • Treatment Commission earned
    • Retail Commission earned
    • Mandatory annual leave break during Christmas & New Years

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Incumbent must be a qualified Skin Care & Aesthetics Professional
    2. a 2-year minimum DIPLOMA in the relevant field (Skin Care, Aesthetics, Aestheticienne, Cosmetology etc.)
    3. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds
    4. Dermal Aesthetics qualifications - BONUS
    5. Business or Marketing qualification - BONUS

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    1. Patient and Client relations - a friendly and welcoming personality
    2. Medical Aesthetic environment employment experience
    3. Comfortable performing aesthetic skin care services (Peels, Needling, Laser etc.)
    4. At least TWO years in a senior, managerial role in the industry
    5. Computer savvy and clued up on several systems including Social Media (FB, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.)

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

    1. Perform Aesthetic services within your scope of practice
    2. Manage the overall operations of the clinic (including patients, staff and queries)
    3. Manage social media content (create or develop where necessary)
    4. Draft Aesthetic plans in absence of doctor's assistant
    5. Assist with Stock control
    6. Training assistance where operationally required
    7. Product screening and attend launches or promotions
    8. Assist with patient prep where required
    9. Assist Drs with any treatment in absence of assistant where operationally required
    10. Offer in-house training
    11. Patient relations & retention
    12. Handle queries
    13. Quality assurance
    14. Front desk duties where operationally required
    15. Assist with sales or product recommendation
