Area Sales Manager - Western Cape

We are seeking a skilled Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Western Cape region. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers to grow market share through gaining new customers across the Region.
Developing and executing a daily calling programme to actively search, pursue and engage potential clients.
Establishing personal sales targets and developing sales budgets in accordance with marketing and sales strategy.
Implementing and managing strategic sales initiatives to increase the company's market share.
Managing customer relationships through a consultative approach/solution selling and understanding the customer's needs (current and upcoming).
Monitoring ongoing spending against budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting variances.
Upholding good business ethics and image portrayal.
Identifying new growth opportunities by market segments.
Providing regular sales reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Sales, Business Development, Marketing or related field.
Matric (Senior Certificate)
Valid Driver's License
Minimum 5 years of solid experience in Business Development
Strong sales experience, preferably in the tyre industry
Negotiation skills and commercial acumen
Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
