    Regional Business Development and Operations Manager

    We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Business Development and Operations Manager to lead our Port Elizabeth office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Business Development:
      • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Eastern Cape region, targeting clients in need of IT Managed Services and SLA-based solutions.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners in the IT and business sectors.
      • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the IT MSP industry.
      • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our market presence in the Eastern Cape, focusing on SLA-driven IT services such as proactive IT support, network management, cloud services, data backup, and end-user support.
      • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, highlighting the value of SLA-based IT solutions.
      • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns supporting business development efforts in the IT MSP space.
      • Monitor and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
    • Operational Management:
      • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
      • Manage and mentor a team of technical and administrative staff, fostering a positive work environment.
      • Develop operational strategies to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery for IT clients.
      • Ensure the office meets all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
      • Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and inventory for the regional office.
      • Address and resolve operational issues promptly, minimizing disruption to client services.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or operational management within the IT MSP industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth, particularly in selling SLA-based IT solutions.
    • Strong understanding of IT Managed Services, including proactive monitoring, cloud computing, cybersecurity, network management, helpdesk, and end-user support.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and IT service management tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask).
    • Knowledge of the Port Elizabeth/Eastern Cape market is highly desirable.
    • Deep understanding of SLA structures and their value proposition for clients.
    • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices in IT service delivery is a plus.
