    Maintenance Manager

    The Maintenance Manager will oversee all aspects of maintenance operations within sectional title/estate properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and functional at all times.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in the sectional title/estate management industry.
    • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, building systems, and equipment.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
    • Proficiency in budget management and vendor negotiation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintenance Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive maintenance plans for properties under management. Oversee maintenance activities including repairs, renovations, and upgrades. Ensure timely completion within budget and compliance with industry standards.
    • Vendor Management: Source, negotiate contracts with, and manage relationships with vendors and contractors for maintenance services. Monitor vendor performance and ensure work is carried out to required standard.
    • Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize maintenance expenditure.
    • Team Leadership: Lead a team of maintenance staff and contractors. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
    • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and industry best practices. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as required.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Prepare regular reports on maintenance operations and performance.

    Package & Remuneration

    R 25,000 - R 35,000 per month
