Assistant management couple required for a Nature Reserve part of the Greater Kruger, Hoedspruit area, consisting of the following two positions:

Education and Experience:

HIM:

Formal Mechanical / Technical qualification with trade test at a reputable institution
Highly advantageous
Excellent mechanical skills (engines), 4×4 vehicles (Toyota's, Land Rovers etc.), Farm machinery, Road graders, TLB's and tractors etc ( Total of +/ 80 Vehicles)
Mechanical and Vehicle maintenance, including workshop / fleet management experience would be an advantage.
Able to manage a team and must be hands on.
Fair administrative ability, including proficiency in Word and Excel
Ability to handle Handyman and Building maintenance requirements on the Reserve
Ability to manage a Health and Safety programme
Must be able to communicate at all levels: Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Selfstarter, eye for detail, and an understanding of mechanical workshop environment
Good interpersonal and organisational skills

HER:
This could either be a front office manager or housekeeping manager.

Formal tertiary qualification
Housekeeping Management / Administrative / Lodge Management
Not essential, but would be an advantage
Pastel Bookkeeping advantage
Front office/reception management
Phones and switchboard
Accounts and Billing
Members / Owners admin functions
Administrative function including shop sales and administration, inventory/stock control, purchasing and orders as required
Must be able to communicate at all levels: Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Good interpersonal and organisational skills
