QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12. Tertiary qualification preferred
  • RE5/1 Regulatory Exam
  • Minimum 3 years experience within the brokerage/medical scheme/retirement fund environment
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a sales environment
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Identify and make contact with prospective clients
  • Create and execute sales plan according to agreed Targets
  • Provide aftersales service to ensure new business retention
  • Build a relationship with key clients
  • Write quality new business aligned to sales/marketing plan
  • Crossselling within existing client base
  • Identify and build relationships with key partners
  • Ensure SLA's are signed timeously
  • Ensure data integrity on all systems

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Sound knowledge of the brokerage environment
  • Sound knowledge of the Retirement Fund environment
  • Sound knowledge of the Medical Scheme environment

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent knowledge of basic CRM procedures
  • Computer literate with excellent understanding of Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent presentation skills (Virtual and in person)
