    Job Title: Senior IT Audit Specialist / Consultant | Fixed Term Contract (Mining)

    A leading mining company seeks an experienced IT audit specialist to perform comprehensive IT audits and ensure compliance with clients' governance frameworks.

    The successful candidate will conduct full-spectrum IT audits, focusing on King, ITIL, COBIT, and other relevant standards. They will review applications, projects, and internal audit processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Performing IT audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement
    • Evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls and governance frameworks
    • Conducting application control reviews and project assessments
    • Developing and implementing remediation plans to address audit findings
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure audit recommendations are implemented

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Audit, IT Audit, or related field
    • Over 10 years of experience in IT auditing, preferably in the mining sector
    • Advanced knowledge of internal audit disciplines, methodologies, and practices
    • CISA and/or CIA certification preferred
    • Experience with ITGC, Application Controls, Governance, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery reviews

    Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

    Duration: 4-month contract

    Estimated Salary: R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum
